The library consists of about 6000 volumes (works by S.E.C. members,social sciences, political science, politics, culture …).The library includes also some 360 periodicals of cultural politics, political philosophy, social sciences and humanities from 1960 to 1990.
The library has been recently moved and is currently hosted at Carlo Collodi National Foundation on a gratuitous loan, following the decision of the SEC Administrative Board on December 12, 2015.
In the meantime, the Carlo Collodi National Foundation has purchased the “Balducci house” in Collodi, which premises will become after renovation the “Sec home”. According to the restoration plans, by 2019 the library will be open to the public and available for consultation by students and researchers of all countries.
