How the SEC makes texts available and protects the rights of those who write them.
The SEC promotes free and open access to knowledge. Texts, theses, articles and documents published in the “Documentary resources” section and on the website’s pages can be read online and, where indicated, downloaded as PDF, without registration.
Authors retain copyright in their works. By submitting a work, the author grants the SEC a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence of unlimited duration to publish it and make it available online and in a digital archive. [proposal to be validated]
Authors may publish the same work elsewhere, stating that it was first published by the SEC.
[To be decided. Proposal: Creative Commons Attribution - NonCommercial - NoDerivatives 4.0 (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0), indicated on each work.] Where no licence is indicated, all rights are reserved and any reuse requires the permission of the author and of the SEC.
